OPPURTUNITY:
Design a poster utilizing three typefaces found in Typographic Specimens: The Great Typefaces by Philip Meggs and Rob Carter, in a way that inspires/informs an audience of students and young graphic designers. The poster must be purely typographic and the connection between the typefaces must be clear.
SOLUTION:
I connected Futura, Kabel, and Stymie as three typefaces based on geometry. Each one is connected through its mathematical approach, but each differ in solution. The poster utilizes geometric shapes and the information found in the book in order to inform (and hopefully inspire) my audience about famous typefaces.
